What originated as a family's home, evolved to another home....one for antiques and collectibles.  Brickhouse Antiques has been a Topeka antiques landmark for over 11 years, though in May 2012 came under new ownership with Mary and Tom Norskov.

Mary and Tom began in the usual way ... collecting.  Their personal collections have been featured in two publications.  They also belong to a number of area and national collecting groups and organizations. Tom served as past president of the Prairie Land Depression Era Glass Club and has had several articles published in the National Fenton Glass Society newsletter.

The "Gallery-Style showrooms" allow a unique feel of being at home as you wander through the rooms where everything is tastefully displayed. There are no partitions or cubicle-like booths. Everything is presented as you may picture it ... in your home.

The relaxed atmosphere at Brickhouse feels like a combination of living room and old-fashioned country store. You are encouraged to browse, linger, stop and visit, share a laugh or two and enjoy yourself. Adding to the relaxed attitude is the calming sound of the music drifting throughout the rooms. Blues or Soft Jazz is usually on the music menu.
